The Maxima 3-Wheel is Pride's heavy-duty scooter for bigger riders who still need to get around indoors. It carries 500 lb, has a 22-inch-wide seat, and turns in 49 inches, which is tight for a scooter this size. It does not come apart, so think of it as a scooter that lives at home.

Who it's for, and who it isn't
Good fit: riders up to 500 lb who want a wide, comfortable seat and enough range for a full day out from home.
Not a fit: anyone who needs to put it in a car. The Maxima doesn't disassemble and weighs 183.5 lb before batteries, so you'll need a vehicle lift, hitch carrier or ramp van to take it places. It's also built for pavement, not grass or gravel. For rough ground, see the PX4.
Maxima or Victory 10?
The Victory 10 3-Wheel carries 400 lb and comes apart for the car. The Maxima carries 500 lb, has a wider seat and goes farther, but stays in one piece. If transport matters, Victory. If capacity and comfort matter, Maxima.

How wide is the seat?

3-wheel or 4-wheel Maxima?
