The PX4 is for people whose driveway is gravel, whose yard has a hill in it, and whose idea of a quick trip is a mile down the greenway. It's Pride's heavy-duty all-terrain scooter: a 500 lb capacity, 13-inch air-filled tires on all four corners, and up to 9.2 mph when you've got room to open it up.

Who it's for, and who it isn't
Good fit: larger riders, rural and suburban properties, and anyone who rides outside more than in. The big air tires and 3.5" of ground clearance handle grass, gravel and broken pavement that would stop a travel scooter.
Not a fit: anyone who needs it to go in a car trunk. The frame alone is about 200 lb and the turning radius is close to 7 feet, so this is an outdoor machine. You'll want a garage or shed, and a vehicle lift or hitch carrier if it travels.

Can it handle grass and gravel?
Yes. That's what it's built for: 13" air-filled tires and 3.5" of ground clearance.
Will it fit in my car?
No. It's too heavy to lift into a trunk. Plan on a vehicle lift, hitch carrier or trailer.
How far will it really go?
Pride rates it up to 23.4 miles. Hills, cold and heavier loads cut that, so plan on less if your route is hilly.
