Ride & Decide™ is Charlotte Mobility’s try-before-you-buy program. Rent a mobility scooter or power chair, put it to the test in your own home and daily routine, and then put what you paid for the rental toward a brand-new device of your own — up to $250.

How Ride & Decide works

  1. Rent a scooter or power chair — for a weekend, a week, or longer.
  2. Try it in real life — use it at home, around the neighborhood, and on your daily errands to see what you actually need.
  3. Apply your credit — buy a new scooter or power chair within 30 days of your rental purchase and we’ll take what you paid for the rental off the price, up to $250. It doesn’t have to be the same model you rented.

Good to know

  • Your credit equals what you paid for the rental, up to $250. Rent for 3 days at $150, get $150 off. Rent for two weeks, get the full $250.
  • Use it toward any new mobility scooter or power chair — not just the model you rented. The Rascal Venture is excluded.
  • You have 30 days from your rental purchase to use the credit.
  • Delivery is not included in Ride & Decide. Local delivery and setup are available for an additional charge.

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to rent to get a credit?

Any length. Your credit equals what you paid for the rental, up to $250. A longer rental doesn’t raise the cap past $250.

How much credit do I get toward a purchase?

The amount you paid for your rental, up to $250, applied toward a new mobility scooter or power chair. You have 30 days from your rental purchase to use it.

Do I have to buy the same model I rented?

No. Rent one model and buy another if it turns out to be a better fit. The only exclusion is the Rascal Venture.

Is delivery included with Ride & Decide?

No — Ride & Decide does not include delivery. Local delivery and setup are available for an additional charge.

How do I use my credit?

Call (704) 879-5189 or reply to your rental follow-up email to set up a showroom appointment. We’ll apply the credit when you buy.
