1. Scope of Services

Our service department is equipped to handle a variety of maintenance and repair needs, including:

  • Battery Services: Testing, replacement, and disposal of batteries.
  • Tire and Wheel Repair: Fixing flat tires, repairing wheels, and replacing worn-out tires.
  • Electrical Diagnostics and Repair: Addressing motor issues, wiring faults, and controller malfunctions.
  • Mechanical Repairs: Repairing or replacing components such as brakes, armrests, and seats.
  • Routine Maintenance: Cleaning, lubrication, and inspections to ensure optimal performance.

2. Warranty

  • All mobility scooters purchased from Charlotte Mobility are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Customers can refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for details.
  • Charlotte Mobility will assist with warranty claims and facilitate repairs that may be covered under warranty.

3. Repair Turnaround Time

  • Repairs are completed as quickly as possible, typically within 7-14 business days. For complex issues or parts that require special ordering, additional time may be necessary. Customers will be informed of any potential delays.

4. Loaner Scooters

  • For Charlotte Mobility Customers: Customers who purchased scooters from us are eligible for a complimentary loaner scooter during repairs, subject to availability.
  • For Non-Charlotte Mobility Customers: Discounted rental scooters are available for those who purchased their scooter elsewhere. Options include transportable, standard, and heavy-duty models.

5. Service Charges

  • Service costs vary based on the complexity of repairs. Customers will receive a detailed cost estimate for approval before repairs begin.
  • A diagnostic fee may apply to assess the issue. This fee is waived if the customer proceeds with the repair.

6. Disclaimer

Charlotte Mobility reserves the right to refuse service under the following conditions:

  • Scooters are deemed unsafe or beyond repair.
  • Devices have been tampered with or modified in ways that compromise safety or functionality.
  • Customers exhibit inappropriate or disrespectful behavior toward staff.
