Shipping & Delivery Information

Charlotte Mobility is proud to offer reliable, flexible delivery options for our customers across the region and beyond. Please review the details below based on your location and the type of product you are ordering.

Local Delivery – Charlotte, NC Area (Free)

Available only for addresses within a 30-mile radius of Charlotte, NC.

  • Delivery time: 5–8 business days for items not in stock

  • Includes free White-Glove Delivery, which is typically a $350–$450 service

  • Your product will be delivered into your home, fully set up, powered on, and all packaging will be removed

  • This is a significant value—most retailers charge extra for this level of service

Standard Delivery (Outside Charlotte, NC) – $75

  • Large items are shipped via freight carrier to your driveway, doorstep, or nearest accessible location

  • The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery time once the item reaches their local facility

  • Someone must be home to sign for delivery

  • Freight carriers cannot deliver over steps and do not offer setup or packaging removal

  • For Pride Mobility equipment shipped outside of the Charlotte area, a labor contract through the manufactureris required for in-home setup. Please contact us if you need help arranging this.

White-Glove Delivery (Outside Charlotte, NC) – $350

This premium delivery service is ideal for customers who want full setup or are shipping to a recipient who may need assistance.

  • Delivery time: 10–14 business days

  • Includes:

    • Delivery into your home

    • Full unpacking, setup, and power-up of the product

    • Function testing to ensure everything works properly

    • Removal of all packaging materials

  • White-Glove Delivery typically adds 5–7 days to your overall delivery time

  • Not available in Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, or Guam

  • Additional fees may apply for certain rural zip codes

Product Shipping Timelines

Power Wheelchairs

  • Most travel, folding, and standard models ship within 1–3 business days

  • Custom chairs with non-standard seat sizes or options: allow 1–2 weeks

  • Travel and folding power chairs ship via UPS or FedEx (no signature required)

  • Full-size power chairs ship via freight carrier with a scheduled delivery call

Scooters

  • Some travel scooters ship via FedEx or UPS and arrive in 3–5 business days

  • Larger travel scooters and most medium to full-size scooters are shipped via freight and arrive in 6–10 business days

  • Scooters with custom options (e.g., seating upgrades, flat-free tires, lighting packages) require 1–3 weeks to ship

  • Freight carrier will call to schedule delivery once your item is in your area

Lift Chairs

  • Ship times range from 5 business days to 4 weeks depending on model, fabric, and features

  • In-stock models ship within 2 business days

  • Models with heat/massage or heavy-duty features may take 3–4 weeks

  • Lift chairs are delivered via freight carrier, who will contact you to schedule delivery

Shipping Restrictions

  • International shipping is not available at this time

  • We cannot ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands

  • Certain rural zip codes may incur additional delivery charges
