The Golden Eagle is the other serious all-terrain scooter we sell, and it earns its spot. It sits higher than most heavy-duty scooters, turns tighter than you'd expect for its size, and with the extended batteries it'll go farther than most people want to ride in a day.

Eagle or PX4?
People cross-shop these two constantly. The short version: the Eagle sits higher (5" of ground clearance vs. 3.5") and turns tighter (69" vs. about 82"). The Pride PX4 is faster (9.2 mph vs. 8 mph). If your property is rough or your garage is tight, lean Eagle. If you've got long open paths, lean PX4.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
Good fit: riders up to 500 lb who spend most of their time outdoors on mixed ground.
Not a fit: anyone who needs to lift it into a car. It's a full-size machine that needs a garage and, for travel, a vehicle lift or carrier.

Standard or extended batteries?
If you regularly ride more than about 15 miles in a day, or your route has hills, get the extended. Otherwise standard is plenty.
Can it go off-road?
It handles grass, gravel and rough yards well, thanks to 5" of clearance and full suspension. It's not a trail bike, so skip deep mud and steep slopes.
Does it come apart for transport?
Not in any way you'd want to do in a parking lot. Plan on a lift or carrier.
