The Jazzy EVO 614 HD is the heavy-duty chair for people who need a wider seat and the tightest possible turns. It carries 450 lb, offers seats up to 24 inches wide, and turns in a 22-inch circle, which is about as tight as power chairs get. Its 13.75-inch drive wheels handle thresholds, grass and uneven ground better than you'd expect from a chair this maneuverable.
Key features
- 450 lb weight capacity
- 22" turning radius
- High-back memory foam captain's seat, 18" to 24" wide
- 13.75" solid drive wheels with 6" casters front and rear
- Up to 13 miles at 450 lb, up to 21.5 miles at 200 lb
EVO 614 HD or Elite HD?
Both carry 450 lb. The EVO turns tighter (22" vs. 24") and is the one to pick if you need a 24"-wide seat. The Jazzy Elite HD has a lighter base and tops out at a 22" seat. Need more width or tighter turns? EVO.
Who it's for, and who it isn't
Good fit: bigger riders, people who need a wide seat, and homes with tight turns between rooms.
Not a fit: travel. It weighs about 255 lb complete, and the heaviest piece is a 126 lb base, so it moves by ramp van or vehicle lift, not by car trunk. For a folding chair, see the Jazzy Carbon HD.
