Carowinds Scooter & Wheelchair Rental — Hotel Delivery or Pickup Minutes from the Park

Spending a day at Carowinds? A mobility scooter means you see the whole park instead of the nearest bench. We're on Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill, about a 5-minute drive from the main gate, and we rent Pride and Golden scooters, wheelchairs and transport chairs by the day. Here's exactly how it works, so there are no surprises.

Two ways to get your scooter

1. Staying at a hotel near Carowinds? We deliver — Saturday and Sunday, any hour.

This is the easy one. On Saturdays and Sundays we deliver to hotels near Carowinds around the clock, leave your scooter or wheelchair with the front desk tagged with your name, and collect it when you're done. You don't need to be there for drop-off or pickup. Delivery is a flat $85 round trip on top of the rental. Call or text (704) 879-5189 with your hotel and check-in time and it'll be waiting.

2. Driving in for the day? Pick up at our Fort Mill showroom.

We don't deliver to the park itself, so day visitors pick up at our showroom at 852 Gold Hill Rd, Suite 102, Fort Mill, SC 29708. We're open Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. Grab it on the way to the park, bring it back the next day. Showroom pickup is always free.

Going on a Saturday or Sunday? Regular showroom hours are weekdays only (Saturday is by appointment), so the simple plan is pick up Friday and return Monday — that's our Carowinds Weekend Special below. If you're only in town for one weekend day and aren't at a hotel, a park-provided rental may fit better. We'd rather tell you that up front than have you drive over to find us closed.

Pick up Friday, keep it all weekend, bring it back Monday — $125 plus tax. That's less than our standard 3-day rate of $150, and it covers both park days with time to spare.

  • Pick up Friday at the showroom, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.
  • Keep it Saturday and Sunday — no rush.
  • Return Monday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.
  • Reserve by Thursday so it's cleaned, charged and ready. Booking by phone is what lets us apply the weekend rate: (704) 879-5189.
