Paying for your scooter or power chair
Charlotte Mobility does not bill Medicare or Medicaid directly. Most customers buy their equipment from us right away and submit for reimbursement through their private insurance — often 50–80% depending on the plan. We provide everything your insurer needs: an itemized invoice, our National Provider Identifier (NPI), Tax ID, HCPCS coding, and the CMS-1490S claim form. Are lift chairs covered by Medicare?
Medicare may reimburse a portion of the seat-lift mechanism (not the chair/furniture portion) in some cases. We don’t bill Medicare directly — most customers buy from us and submit for reimbursement with the documentation we provide, and we accept HSA/FSA funds.
How do I choose the right lift chair size?

What’s the difference between a 3-position and infinite-position lift chair?
A 3-position chair reclines to set angles; an infinite-position chair (like the VivaLift Premier and Radiance) reclines continuously and can lay nearly flat for greater comfort.
